About this tour

A private-car day from 09:00 to 17:00 combining craft, history and skyline. Start at the Royal Selangor Visitor Centre to discover pewter craftsmanship, then Merdeka Square, Sultan Abdul Samad Building and the riverside by Masjid Jamek, followed by lunch and the National Museum, finishing at KLCC and its park. The route allows for travel, walking, visits and return within eight hours. Arrange museum admission and any paid workshop in advance; meals and purchases are separate from the vehicle price.

    Merdeka Square and Sultan Abdul Samad Building

    Allow about 30 minutes for travel and 60 for the square, building exterior and riverside near Masjid Jamek.

Sample 09:00–17:00: outward travel 40 minutes, Royal Selangor 80, transfer/heritage district 90, lunch 45, museum with transfer 75, transfer/KLCC 100, return 50 = eight hours. Adjust the order for the hotel, tickets and traffic. A selected paid workshop fits within the visitor-centre allowance and reduces browsing time there.
