Admission & tickets
Hai Phong’s announcement effective 1 January 2026 lists park admission at VND160,000 per adult and VND80,000 for children aged six and above; some internal routes are VND80,000–120,000 per adult with children at half rate. Under-sixes are exempt under that announcement. These charges should not automatically be added together: TRAVEL29 will confirm the ticket and category required for your route. Transfers, guides, boats and bay fees are separate unless expressly included.

Why visit Cat Ba National Park?
The park protects terrestrial and marine areas of Cat Ba Island and its archipelago, combining limestone forests, mangroves and marine life. Land trails and bay excursions are separate experiences: choose a route and starting point to suit your fitness and time. Wildlife photographs illustrate biodiversity and do not guarantee sightings.
What to look forward to
- Options include Kim Giao forest, Ngu Lam peak and Trung Trang cave when accessible, plus forest and plant observation. Longer routes towards Viet Hai and marine habitats require specific arrangements. Wild Cat Ba langur sightings are rare and never guaranteed.
