Allow 3–5 hours inside the park as a planning estimate, excluding travel from town; upper tiers need more time.
Start in the morning to allow enough walking time. Rain can change water levels and close trails; check park conditions before departure.
Erawan National Park has a seven-tier waterfall within a forest landscape. Water runs over limestone into pools, with easier lower sections and more demanding paths farther uphill. Families can plan a shorter walk near the lower tiers; fit visitors can continue when trails are open. Allow time for photography and shaded breaks. Swimming permission depends on the pool and current conditions, so follow the rangers’ instructions.
Tha Kradan, Si Sawat district, Kanchanaburi province, north of Kanchanaburi town. Arrange road transport and confirm the return pickup. The map marks the waterfall area inside the park.
