Sam Phan Bok is a natural rock landscape in Pho Sai district, northeast of Ubon Ratchathani. Lower river levels expose water-carved hollows and rock shapes along the Mekong. It is a seasonal visit: photographs of exposed rocks do not represent every month, and high water can cover much of the site. Plan a walk and photography stop, with a boat trip only when available and conditions permit.
