Why visit Tioman Island?

Tioman lies off the east coast of Peninsular Malaysia. It suits a beach stay with optional snorkelling, while dive sites require a boat, qualified operator and suitable experience. Villages differ in access and services: select your village and accommodation before booking the ferry. Gallery images include genuine underwater scenes; wildlife sightings are never guaranteed.

What to look forward to

  • Enjoy beaches and coastal villages, with a snorkelling trip when sea conditions permit. Renggis and other sites offer coral and marine-life interest. Deep dives and wreck dives are not automatically suitable for beginners.
